Andrew and Kelly’s story began in middle school, when they first crossed paths at just 13 years old. However, it wasn’t until 2016—Kelly’s sophomore year of high school and Andrew’s junior year—that their relationship truly blossomed. One fateful day, Andrew walked into his nearly empty photography class, where Kelly was the only one there. Without hesitation, he sat down right next to her, and the rest is history!

The two dated throughout high school, sharing many unforgettable moments, including two proms, homecoming, and Andrew’s graduation. But as graduation approached, Andrew enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and their paths diverged—at least for a little while.

While Andrew was serving in the Navy and Kelly was attending college, the two reconnected. During one of Andrew’s deployments, he reached out to Kelly, and soon they began talking about their future together. After months of reconnecting, they decided it was time to take the next step—moving in together!

What followed was an adventure of a lifetime: traveling the world, adopting two crazy cats, settling into their cozy apartment, and celebrating four more birthdays together. Then, in a moment they’ll both cherish forever, Andrew proposed at Libby Hill Park, with the Richmond skyline lit up behind them. He got an immediate and excited “yes!!” in return.

Now, as they prepare to tie the knot, Andrew and Kelly are thrilled to celebrate their love with everyone at their wedding. They can’t wait to begin this new chapter of their lives together, hand in hand.
